FRIENDS fans...We Are Getting A Spin-Off Series!

I just read that NBC has signed Matt LeBlanc to a spin-off series to start in Fall 2004 after Friends finishes. His show will be given the same time slot that Friends now has on Thursday nights.

I know this has been rumored for a while but this is the first official news I have seen. I really hope that the spin-off works!

Everything I am reading today (MSNBC, CNN, etc.) makes it sound like it is a done deal.

The Today show just did a story on it, so I would say it is confirmed. Should be interesting. I love Joey, I hope they can pull it off.

I love the character of Joey but I'm not sure if he will be just as funny without the others. I hope it is a success.

Matt LeBlanc played the "Joey" character in *Charlie's Angel's 2: Full Throttle* and it was funny without the other 5 *friends*... so they COULD make the character work without them if they use the same brilliant script writers that they do on Friends.
