Hello! We have been waiting....and waiting until my job situation clears up to book the Dream for 2011. Not a surprise, but the room inventory is very limited. My question is:

We would like to book my DH and I using points and pay cash for the kids. Can I pay for the kids through DCL instead of DVC? I think the kids' price is less than what DVC is offering me. Plus, I may not have to pay for it in one lump sum if I go through DCL. Anyone know anything about this?

Do I book DVC first, or go through DCL first? DVC told us that to add on the kids later would be an additional $90! Would I have to pay this again if I go through DCL? Thanks!!!!!!

If you book any passengers with points, those booked with cash must be paid for in full (to DVC) when the points booking is made.

If you want to book through points for part of the reservation, you'll need to pay the cash price through DVC for the rest of the passengers on the reservation. There's a $95 transaction/exchange fee to DCL for the reservation and any changes (including changing room category or adding or removing passengers) will indeed be another $95 fee. If you book directly through DCL (cash only on the whole reservation), there's no $95 fee and you'd only pay a deposit now.
