Friends and family tickets

We will be in wdw 8/1 a 8/8 and will be buying friends and family discounted tickets for family members.

I know the restriction is that they must be used on day purchased and are limited to 6. Is the 6 limit per member? In other words would my wife also qualify to buy an additional 6?

Ps- I know this is an annual pass holder question but do any DVC folks have the answer?

The way I read it, it's 6 per passholder.

While you can save a few $$$ you cannot get fastpass+ for these tickets until the day of purchase, and all the good ones will be gone by then.

Are your dates correct, Aug1-8 has passed already, and this perk is only valid 8/11 - 9/30/ 2017
