I go on the 15th and I know rates are available with the extra and dinning up to the 18th. It could be there are no rooms available at your resort for your time period. I know there was nothing at the BWI for us, so I will keep my 50% Cast rate. I am retired so I don't have HUB access and have to call all the time for additional discounts.

We are getting excited for our 10/11 check in! We have a 40% off room thanks to CM friend. She tried about 2 weeks ago to increase to 50% and add dining but no-go. How close to check in can she still call? Has anyone seen better rate for that time? I haven't done our online checkin yet- should I wait til time gets closer to see if discount changes? Thanks so much!

Just to tack onto what Kerry said...

If your dates go beyond the 18th, anything past that will revert back to rack rate. If they come out with another discount that starts on the 19th you'd have to split the reservation in two to get a discount for the whole stay.

OR, you can leave it at 40% and just keep it as one. It stinks when your trip falls on a split like that.

It is available but it doesn't mean that it can be automatically applied. There is limited availability, so it sounds like there wasn't availability for your dates. She can keep checking to see if something opens up.

So, I'm wondering if this issue might happen to us because we are going Jan 4-Jan 10 and Jan 7 starts marathon weekend. I'm happy with 40% off so I don't really care either way and think it might be a pain to split the reservation for 3 days.

So now we're eagerly awaiting this booklet that my dd recently found out would be coming in October (shes.only been a DLR cm since March of this year) ..We are booked at 50% off for her room and 40% off on the other 2 rooms (all family members but reservations said 50% not available when we booked)...Is it possible that we can apply any larger discounts offer in the booklet to our existing reservation? Also, had planned on using Main Entrance pass for her and three family members to go in the parks and purchase discount park hoppers for the rest of the family thru the hub...But she has been told she will get 3 parkhoppers along with the booklet - I wonder if that can be combined with the Main Entrance pass?..We're certainly happy with the perks she already has, but wouldn't want to waste any others

The extra main gate given with the booklet can be used on top of the regular main gate gate for a total of 6 people.

I do believe it is only 1 extra day though and has black out dates different than the regular main gate.

If a better discount is available you can always get the better rate she would just need to call.

There shouldn't be any issues. CMs only get so many F&F discounts though (meaning cm is not on reservation) so it may count as 2. Not sure as I never used F&F just always put myself on the reservation even if I wasn't staying in the room as the extra 10 a day for me and having me go check in was still cheaper that using F&F.

F and F discounts are out for 2015. The cast member needs to call and ask if your resort is available and what the cost will be. They can also check the HUB for resorts and prices. The information given here is just general information, to get specific you really need to have the CM check for you ,as they will be making the reservation.

Have her call because I just got off the phone and was able to get the new discount of 60% off and discount dinning for my room and the 2 rooms I booked for my kids. Good for you. My brother is a CM and he is staying with us in June. He was able to get a WLV when the 2015 prices were first released at 40% off and he keeps checking to see if it goes up to 50% at some point.
But we feel very fortunate to have gotten the 40% off for a 2 BDR unit. Last time we were able to get 50% at OKW and we had a great time.

So were you able to get the dining discount for late January already? From earlier posts, it sounded like you needed to call about 2 weeks before reservation. I was lucky enough to have someone share F&F discount, and I reserved back in August. I called to check maybe a month ago, and they said there were no further discounts available. I'd call now, but with the new discount, I'm sure the Travel Company Cast Members are crazy overworked now!
