that wasn't true with us. I am under F&F with the CM discount. once she made the initial reservation, I have been able to call and get the bigger discounts as they have come out, switch packages, etc.

Once the CM makes the reservation, yes. But that poster has a military reservation, so she couldn't call and check CM rates against it since there's no initial CM reservation.

60% and discount dinning now open to Oct. 19th

Just wondering if there are restrictions for F&F discounts.....Are there blackout dates or certain resorts that cannot be booked?

I just want to figure out my options before I ask CM to help book.

I was just going to ask about this.
I have two rooms booked at Contemporary, Theme Park View, for December 27-29 for a pre-cruise stay. Is it possible I can get a discount for my rooms?

There's not blackout dates. There are a few things excluded from the deeper discount. Off the top of my head... LM room at AoA, villas at GF, and maybe one other thing. It's pretty basic exclusion wise.

You might be able to because when I called at first she used the code for CM in the room. Then she changed it when I said she was not staying with us. I wrote down both codes as she mentioned them but I just noticed there is a different code on my payment email for the package. So I guess it depends on the CM you get when you call. I made sure to do the survey afterwards because she was very kind to keep looking for the right code.

thank you! I was able to call and have the additional 10% applied to the room only part. He said it was saying the quick service plan is $33.99 but when he put everything in to check what the total price would be (set up a fake new reservation) it was coming out to $35.06 a day and he didn't know why. Any idea?

You'd need to have your CM friend call and check availability for your dates. If it's available they can apply it.

Maybe taxes? I think packages also have a small up charge for the magical extras, which is why they don't break down package pricing.

You could be right because he said there was not a breakdown of prices of what each thing was. We only knew because he had already checked the room only price with the 10% additional and we subtracted that from the quote for the package with dining...

was this the price with the CM in the room for quick service, if so they aren't giving a really good discount this year i had it for about $22 last yr, bummer was really hoping. anything up to $25 was a good dea lafter that its cheaper for us to pay OOP. oh well

Yes he said that was with the 60% with the CM in the room. You are right that its not super savings especially if its actually $35. Regular price is $41.99

Either a friend or a family member. The friend's daughter counts as long as she is working while you are taking your trip. The CMs have be to be careful since they are held responsible for the guests behavior. I know you were probably only kidding, but personally I would not get a discount for someone I don't know.

I have reservations at 40% off at CBR Oct11-15 through F&F. I called today to check on the dining- if we did get it, would be interested in the PLUS dining that included at least 1 table service since we will do a few character meals. The CM on the phone was kind of vague and said he would need to alter the reservation and rebook as a package- I have read on here that that might be the case, totally fine- but he couldn't give me a clear answer what the Plus Dining would cost until he did the work up. He said "well. It will be less than $62 pp per day". I thought- well, it better be bc there is no way we would pay that! Lol. It seemed like I was putting him out to run it through, and I wasn't sure if he did that, I would lose my current reservation. Has anyone had a similar experience? Anyone know what Plus Dining is going for the 2nd week of October? If it is $50+, I think we will just go the OOP route.... TIA!!

The quote I got was $50.06/day even though the offer says its $48.99. After he did a mock reservation and we figured out what the dining plan seemed to cost it was about $1 more ($50.06)

oh well, I will be grateful for my 60% of room, and that we got a really good deal last year on the dining plan, and just go OOP this year for food,since last years trip was totally not planned till my DD got her internship.

We currently have 50% off cast discount for a standard room only. I tried to call today to inquire about either 60% or the discounted dining plan.

First he told me 50% is the best discount I'm going to get. Then I mentioned we wanted to know about the dining plan, so he looked around for that for a bit. Put me on hold again and eventually said that there is no availability for it at Coronado for our dates.

I got more info on the 60% off, including the booking code, so I tried to call again later this evening and the CM told me that their system is down and he can't even look up our reservation.

It's a little annoying tbh. He told me to try again tomorrow, so I shall.
