Friends and family discount question

I'm starting my disney internship in the fall, but my family and I are going back to disney world a couple months after my program ends. If I book the hotel during my program, can I use the discount? And can I also buy the park tickets?

I did a search and found many threads on the internship programs over on the college boards.

I bet you will find next to no one who has been to the resorts on this board that did the internship program and knows how the discounts work.

No you won't be able to do this. When a Cast Member books a Friends & Family room that Cast Member must go to the resort within a few days prior to the check-in date to show their current and valid Cast ID, which you won't have anymore.

I expected that; I just did not want to call out the OP. Obviously, they did not think outside the box regarding discounts, but at that age I was not able to do so either.
