Oh I think they are probably a good brokerage. I've followed the pricing trends (for certain resorts in particular) pretty regularly since the end of 2014 when we bought our 1st contract. To me they seem to be consistently higher than other brokerages and have more stripped contracts for sale. Obviously you can try to negotiate but for example we are in ROFR right now for $110 pp at BLT on a 120 point contract with another broker that has full current UY points (with seller paying 2016 MF). The 5 avail contracts on
DVC resale market's website currently for BLT contracts 125 points or less range from an asking price of $120 pp to $138 pp-all are stripped of 2016 points and some are stripped of 2017 as well. The closest ones to what we are buying would be the two 125 point contracts they have listed. They are listed at 120 pp and are stripped of both 2016 and 2017 points (one has 17 2017 points and the other has no 2017 and only 4 2016 banked points). To me that's more than a little overpriced as part of our motivation to buy is to use the points for vacation next year. I have nothing against them personally. If I saw a contract that fit my needs and was a decent price I would be interested in doing business with them in the future. It's just my observation that their asking prices seem to be the highest (typically).
