This whole week has been the worst week of my life...and it just got even more complecated. I would turn to my real life friends...but they are all practically involved and I just need to vent, and get some unbiased opinions.
Im not using real names, but I will explain each person's relationship to me to make this a little easier to follow.
People involved:
Me...you know me, no need to explain
Katie: My best friend in my grade at school. Has never re-told a secret of mine, and has always been there for me.
Amanda: A new friend this year, was friends with her once before in 8th grade but we drifted apart.
Callie: Left my school and goes to a new school this year. For some reason she hates me, spread a very nasty rumor about me freshmen year and trashed my reputation. Seems innocent, nice, sweet, and but she LIES and EVERYONE knows that.
So Calli was spreading rumors about me at her new school. A good chunk of my friends go to that school, and I was NOT happy. But lets be real, I have no way of gettin in touch with her. I dont have her phone number, screen name, or facebook...we arn't friends. I only know this because Amanda told me. Each time a new rumor about me was spread, Amanda would tell me. She didn;t knwo if she should tell me, or keep to herself. I told her I would rather know what people were saying about be and prove them wrong, than not know at all.
Fast foward a few weeks and Katie gets a new job. Geuss who she is working with? Callie. Now Callie has never been nice to Katie, in fact my whole clique pretty much hated her freshmen and sophmore year.
When I found out they were working together I just casually said "ew I hate her." Katie asks me why, and says shes so nice, and I should give her a chance. I told her EVERYTHING that Callie said about me and how I was mad that she would trash me, when she doesn't even know me.
So tonight, I am getting ready to go out and find out Katie is mad at Amanda. Katie said that Amanda told me fake rumors, and that Callie has never said anything about me. I would beleive this BUT I have heard these rumors from other people!! Besides, Katie had NO RIGHT to repeat anything I said about Callie or the rumors.
Katie wont beleive me that Amanda is telling the truth, and I fear that I am losing my best friend.
I'm sorry, this is so long, but I don't know what to do. All of my friends have taken sides. How can I get Katie to believe me that Amanda was telling the truth! Do you think this could cause a friendship to end? Please this was the end to possibly the worst week of my entire life, and it stinks.
