A few years ago I read about a restaurant that had fried Snickers--I think it was at Downtown Disney. I am not really big on fried foods, but I love Snickers so I just want to try it.

Has anyone tried a fried Snickers? :confused3

I have not heard about this "creation" anywhere on Disney property. If you find it please let the rest of us know!

As of May of last year, Cooke's of Dublin in DTD had fried "doh-bars" - fried Snickers, etc. I think it was $3.50 each. We didn't try them, but put it on our list of maybe some day we'll be adventurous foods. :lmao:

Yes you can find them at Cooke's of Dublin in DTD they are called fried "doh-bars
They are very good--give them a try.

I had one at a neighborhood street fair here in Chicago. I thought it would be disgusting, but it was delicious. The candy bar was all gooey and melted. I would try it again.

Now the fried twinkie I had in Vegas on the other hand...:crazy2:

Wow, I had no idea there was such a thing. I'm usually REALLY careful about restaurants, my daughter is anaphylactic to peanuts, but that is just scary. Her french fries in the same oil with a Snickers bar....

I hope it's on the menu so people like me can avoid the place.

We were at Disney in early January and had the fried Doh Bar at Cooke's. I only had one bite, my daughter ate most of it, but it was very good. I did get a discount with my TIW card so i think it was around 2.75. Try one when you go.

wow I would HOPE that the fried sweets/desserts would be in separate friers than the real food....at least I am glad the beignets are in separate oil from the fries at my POFQ food court!!!

Oh, and I REALLY wanna try a fried snickers!

We tried a doh-bar in December and it was good, but really rich. It kind of upset my stomach

Never seen them at Disney (have to look for them at Cookes), but I get one every year at the Renaissance Faire here in Louisiana.

For those both "intrigued and disgusted..." TRY IT! You'll be amazed at how good they are!

ooooooo...Add me to the list of intrigued and disgusted at the same time...We'll have to see if I brave one this week!

:rotfl2: We had those last year at Cookes. They really are both sinfully delicious and disgusting. It's just so darned good and so over the top at the same time, that you're disgusted with yourself for eating it! Yum!!

That's looks really good! My DH always says that food ALWAYS tastes better fried! :rotfl2: Never would have thought of this! Thanks for sharing.

We have had them a couple of times at Cooke's of Dublin in DTD, they are GREAT!!

Really doesn't sound good to me at all. My guess is it wouldn't settle well in my stomach either. Fried foods and chocolate. :crazy2:

Trying to decide if it is a
Ooooo or Ewwww
Love Snickers, but not sure about being fried. Is it a flour batter coating?
