My dad is wanting some fried pies like my mom used to make. While I've watcher her do it many times and helped assemble. I don't know how to go from start to finish.
She used canned biscuits....one biscuit per pie.
Fruit such as fresh ripe sliced bananas, apples, etc.
Here's what I know:
You roll the biscuit into a circle. Place fruit on one side and fold over. Use a fork to pinch the seam together. Fry in a skillet in a little oil, turn and continue to fry.
I know she did something else, sprinkling with sugar or brown sugar, etc.
Anyone have a good recipe for this?
