We were just talking about this today! DN wants to stay at FW cabins again because of the fried chicken! I had to convince him that POP has fried chicken some nites and they can always go to dinner at TE. Not to worry he will get his fill of fried chicken!

I think trails end has the best comfort food in the world.It's one of the most over looked places to eat IMHO

Had the big platter at 50's PTC,it's worth a look at the food pix to see.Chicken was the best ever in a restaurant and even the meat loaf was great.It was truly the food I remember as a kid in the.......60's

Do you know that you can get Trails End chicken to go??
Yep trails end has a whole take out menu if you would like that the fried chicken in on it.

POP had fried chicken once in a while, and from what I hear/read 50's Prime Time's fried chicken is supposed to be delicious!

I thought the chicken was better at Hoop Dee Doo than at 50s Prime Time, FYI (but both were good).

We had good fried chicken at POFQ last fall.

We also had it with the bbq ribs back in June. It was very good in my opinion and was a huge portion size.

Had the Fried Chicken last week at HDDR and 50's PTC and both are great. However I found the Chicken at PTC to be a little on the salty side. Also had the "Fried Chicken" at CRT for dinner and it was out of this world good, but not the traditional Fried Chicken. It wasn't breaded it was more like a seasoning on it. It was so good I wanted more and the mac and cheese that came with it was equally as good.
