Fried chicken at 50's Prime Time question...

I'm from Australia, and the only fried chicken we get here is from Kentucky Fried Chicken, or other greasy fast food places. Yummy, but never anything special.

I've heard so much about the fried chicken at 50's Prime Time and how delicious it is, so my question is... Is it really that different to regular fast food fried chicken? If so, what makes it different?

I'll probably order it anyway, but I'm just wondering!!

It is more homemade then fastfood. Fastfood chicken tends to be coated in some nasty batter to give it a larger appearance. The chicken at Prime Time seems be to be covered in a light flour coating. It isn't as greasy as fastfood chicken either. I can't stand fastfood chicken but Prime Time chicken is a favorite. It is very moist and tasty.

I thought it didn't taste as greasy as KFC does. Their food may only be mediocre at best but I LOVE the Primetime!

I have to agree, the fried chicken at Prime Time is really good. I thought it was similar to KFC but not near as greasy.

I like it because it isn;t as overseasoned as most fast food chicken has become here in the US. You can actually taste the "chicken" and not just cayenne pepper.
