Just wondering if anyone knows how big the refrigerators at POR are. I wanted to order some things from Garden Grocer.com but wasn't sure how much room we would have. TIA
This will be our first trip to POR, but have stayed at other mods, you could fit a half of a gallon of milk without a problem we do it all the time for ds breakfast.
When we stayed at POR last year, the fridge never did get really cold. We turned it up but no luck. It wasn't a huge inconvenience for us, but I just wanted to mention it in case you threw in some milk and left it for the day.
Just check the temp first. Could be we had a wonky one!
I didn't have any problems keeping our milk cold last time we were there. But, if your fridge doesn't get that cold, why not put the milk in a bucket of ice in the fridge?
Are all of the fridges the same? I was hoping for a tiny freezer to freeze water bottles at night to take to the parks and let them melt as the day goes on.
Last year, I fit a gallon of milk and 2 half-gallon juice bottles (filled with ice water) in our fridge, plus small bottles of juice and water on the door. (We drive, I brought it all from home.) My fridge was quite cold. I had frozen water in juice bottles to keep the milk cold in the cooler on the trip, and 7 days later, one of the bottles still had not thawed completely.
