Fridge question

I am going on the assumption that the TA that announced the free fridges in the values was dead wrong. So I will be buying a fridge from the Wal-Mart down I-4 on our trip next September. We fly down and rent a vehicle so taking the fridge home is not an option for us. And I don't have the energy, or time with school, to deal with running a fridge swap. So, my question is this:

Is there a fridge swap that would be willing to take this fridge after we are finished with our trip?

I'd really prefer for the swap to be one that is really in need of a new fridge. And exactly how do I handle this? Do I put it back in the box? Who do I give it to? etc...

You might want to see if a current swap has room for you. We started a new one recently called the "Minnie Fridge" swap at All Stars. Monkey30 runs it and I think BlueFairy runs one too. That way, if there is one available for you, you don't have to spend any money and if the fridge goes missing by then you can buy one and donate it to the already running swap to continue it.

yes we have a swap already and it is a failry large fridge (2.8cuft I believe) with a decent size freezer.

Blue fairy has one as well, her's is a take over thread.

I think you're misunderstanding what I am saying. I am going to be going to Disney next year and I will be purchasing a new fridge from Wal-Mart and after the trip I will be donating the fridge to someone. I am not looking for a swap so I can get a fridge from them. I am looking to give one to a swap that may need one after my trip.

I think you are clear on what you are wanting. I believe that the others are trying "offer" you the opportunity to have the use of a fridge for your trip without you buying one.
They just had good intentions.

I think as the time of your trip grows closer than you can offer your fridge as a donation. That way if one of the other fridges is in need of replacement for any reason (not working, lost, old, etc) you would be able to donate yours.

It is very kind of you to donate your fridge after your stay at WDW.

Ahhhh. I see now. I must be staring at my screen too long. LOL I'll wait until closer to the trip to offer it then. :)
