I just spoke to Ashley Fitzpatrick and she definately has our fridge! She is going to contact the current swapper and see about exchanging fridges.

We have our original fridge back and new labels with my contact information will be placed on the boxes before they go to the next swapper.

Yup! and Unfortunately no one is checking in after me! I have contacted Amy and I will put her info on the fridge and check it with luggage services so she can pick it up when she checks in the 29th.

I would rather hand it off to someone though.
Doesn't anyone want a fridge and coffee pot from the 23rd to the 29th!

ETA I just realized that there has been a change. I will PM nicolem05 and get the correct info. Hopefully someone will sign up between our trip and the next because that's a long time for the fridge to sit at Pop!

Here's a strange question... Do CMs know about fridge swaps? Obviously, Disney takes no responsibility for the maintenance and safety of these things, but are they confused when people come and ask for big boxes that may be waiting for them? I would figure that by now, they would at least know that these things exist, and there is a chance that large boxes could sit in their LS warehouse for a week or so.

Hey! It looks as though things are getting sorted out. Sorry if people couldn't be in touch with me via my cell phone while we were there -- my husband decided to go swimming with it in is pocket!! We let it well labeled in luggage services when we left on the 3rd. I was nervous about doing it that way but glad to hear as though it's all worked out.

Thanks a million for the swap. It was awesome to have it and not to have to pay for it made it even better!! Keep up the good work. I know where I will be looking the next time we head to disney!!

Just got a text from Mickeymouseclubhouse and she has the fridge and coffee pot. It seems the toaster has disappeared.

I think this swap is back on track. Thanks again to everyone who helped us find it and get it back where it belongs. I believe my information (as the swap leader) is now on the box/boxes and hopefully, we won't lose it again!

The fridge is still available between 10/24 & 11/9, if you know of anyone who is interested, have them send me a PM. Thanks.

I coordinate a Pop Fridge Swap (#2) on the TourGuideMike forums. It seems that our fridge (and enclosed coffeepot, etc.) went missing in September and I'm trying to track it down. Meanwhile, Pop gave one of our swappers a fridge that doesn't belong to us. I have a feeling that they gave our fridge to another fridge swap group.

I have asked our swapper who is currently at Pop to take a picture of the fridge and box that she has in the hopes that we can find it's true owner. A picture of our fridge box is my avatar over there to the left. If anyone has seen the fridge, could you please, please contact me so that we can get our swap going again?

Thanks Julie! I'm hopeful that ours will turn up sooner or later. Do you happen to know if there are any other boards online that have fridge swaps too? I'm only aware of the DIS and TGM.
