Fridge for Medications

Hey all! I have a question abut using the Fridges at the Value Resorts for medication. We leave in just under 3 weeks and as of right now, we don't need a fridge for midicine. However, because of the timing, I might. I wouldn't know for sure until probably the day before we leave. We aren't planning on renting one, and we will be taking a small cooler, I would just feel better keeping this medicine in a fridge if I need it.

Because of the late notice for it, I'm not really sure how to handle it. I'd hate to take a fridge someone needs for their own health needs if I don't need it, but what happens if I do need it?

If any of you have any advise, it would be greatly appreciated!

Well if you think about it a cooler would not be sufficient for a medication that needs to be refrigerated. I've tried using a cooler before (I have a shot that needs to be cool) and first it cost money to keep adding ice, but since the hotels have machines this isn't a big deal. Secondly ice melts fast. I once left a hotel for a day and my pen that was inside was broken and warm because the water melted on to it.
What it comes down to is this. If you may need it, you don't want to take the chance of having to use a small cooler. It's Disney, I’m sure they have tons of mini fridges.
Hope this helped.

Some people even request a refrigerator on the day they arrive, so don’t worry about it.
They do have several sizes of refrigerators for medication - one is about the size of a large shoebox and the other is a dorm sized refrigerator.

Ask for one ahead of time, and if you find you don't need and it you are concerned about others, ask them to remove it. They can always take it back.
