Fridge at POR?

I know this has been asked a million times but I tried the search and couldn't get it to work. Do the POR rooms have a small refridgerator? I think we will be in Alligaor Bayou because we are a family of 5 and I think the trundles are located there. I was just wondering if I had to request a fridge or if it was standard in these rooms. Thanks so much for your help!!

Yes, they do, but there has been a little discussion on the boards as to how well they actually work. HTH.

They are standard at POR no need to request. Enjoy Alligator Bayou, it's one of my favorite resort areas.

Thanks so much for your help!! This will be our first time at POR and we are really looking forward to it. We are big CSR fans but my daughter is bringing a friend and we could not stay there with 5 without getting a suite and boy howdy are they pricey there!! Thanks so much for your replies. We mainly want it for drinks so hopefully it will work for that!!!

It should work fine for your drinks. I've stayed at POR once and POFQ 4 times and personally I have never had an issue or problem with the room refrigerators.

When we stayed at POR we had a refrigerator in our room.....although I'm not sure if they are actually refrigerators or "cooling boxes". It didn't seem to get all that cool inside of it, but we only kept water and soda in it....and when we took out a bottle to drink it was cool but not cold. I don't think I would probably store perishable food in it. We were in Alligator Bayou also. Have fun at POR!! We loved it. It is our favorite Disney resort.
