Fridge at POFQ

When I made my reservation at POFQ, I had the CM note that we needed a refrigerator because my wife is on insulin. The CM said, no problem, they have small refrigerators for medication that go in the room. She said it was no charge, but if we wanted a larger one that holds drinks, it would be $10 a day. Has anyone heard of this?

Yes, the resorts will give you a small fridge to keep medicine cold at no charge.

This is the first time I heard about a "small" fridge. We have stayed many times, and have always had the larger fridge when we requested one for medical purposes. No big deal. I didn't even know that had a different size fridges available.

the post that all the moderates and deluxes were getting fridges in the rooms so there won't be any charge???


When I made Ressies for POFQ the CM asked me if I wanted a fridge for $10 a day. I said no because I thought by the time I went in Feb they would have them anyways.

Anybody know anything on that??

I made reservations 2 days ago at AKL and requested a refrigerator. My toddler DD does not drink milk so we have to make sure we have calcium enriched juices for her. The CM taking my reservation told me that all the rooms in AKL were getting refrigerators as part of an upgrade and I didn't need to request one. I'll be honest and say that I can't remember if he said all the other deluxe hotels were too or if it was all the hotels period.

Why do some get charged and others don't?
