Go with Sunday. With work and school the next day you stand a better chance of lower crowds.

I am more a fan of Sunday parties vs Friday, generally speaking. But I tend to think it's just shades of grey in terms of crowd level differences. However if given the choice, I would do Sunday.

I would agree, most locals will go on Friday due to work on Monday. And plenty of travellers are leaving Sunday to return home that night for work Monday. I am doing a Sunday MNSSHP.
