Our only options for doing Epcot as a family are on a Friday or Sunday during the Food and Wine Festival... which do you think would be better? We predominantly want to focus on Future World and rides, but also want to take in a little of the festival's food offerings. Which do you think would be least busy and least crazy? Thanks!

That's probably a toss up. We have Thurs. and Friday. Only doing MK and Epcot. Decided on Epcot on Thurs. to avoid the weekend crowds and do MK on Friday. I think I would pick Sunday. It is still the weekend, but the locals will have to work on Monday, so less likely to party on Sunday night.

Also depends on your timing - Friday daytime might be slightly better than Sunday daytime, but Friday evening will probably be busier than Sunday evening. (Because of locals' work schedules.)

As long as you go to F&W early (ending by mid-afternoon), either day would probably be fine. Chances are Sunday would be busier than Friday during the day, since more locals would be off work on Sunday. Just avoid the evenings at F&W.

Agree with everyone else - I'd plan on F&W for Friday lunch (11AM - early afternoon). Granted we never ran into anyone truly unruly but we did come across some folks on Friday night that even my kids noticed were definitely 'over served'. My oldest said 'geesh what is this Universal?' lol

Go Friday if you can. We went last year on a Sunday and Epcot was busier than I've ever seen it in over 20 years. The atmosphere was fantastic with countless groups of middle aged people enjoying wonderful food and wine and almost no children at all. Quite wonderful and surreal!

We only avoid Saturday, crazy busy. Fri before the locals get out of work isn't bad and I have no particular bad memories about Sun so that probably means it's not too bad either. Of course weekdays are best, hardly any lines at all at the food kiosks.
