We will arrive on Friday, November 12. We'd like to go to MK. If the EMH test schedule goes into effect, it will be an EE morning at MK. We have Hoop reservations for 7:15 but are thinking of changing to a PS at LTT if we'll be at MK. I don't want to cancel Hoop if Mk will be very crowded. We won't arrive there until mid-afternoon. We could keep our Hoop time and go to a different park for the afternoon, but then we don't plan to get to the MK until the following Thursday! Any suggestions?

Welcome to the DIS, M&J's Mom! I'm glad you found us and I hope you can visit often.

I'm going to bump this back to page one for you so that some of our veterans can offer advice.

If you're not arriving till mid afternoon, why do you want to blow a day on your tickets for only a couple of hours? MK won't be open that late - only till 6 or 7pm. Personally, I'd leave the Hoop reservations and save a day on my ticket.

I don't think EMH will affect the crowds later in the day. From what I saw with EMH, the park was a little more crowded in the morning and it evened out during the day. Also, going that time in November, I don't think it will be terribly crowded because it's an "off" time of year.

As for doing another park and then going to Hoop, I think that would be too hectic. If you have ressies at 7:15, you have to be there 30 min prior to that time. At some point, you'll have to pick up your tickets for the show (either at FW or at another resort). You also have to factor in travel time to FW from wherever you are, and also factor in some time to get through FW itself.

I'm not sure I helped you very much, but that's my 2 cents worth!:scratchin

Have a wonderful trip!

Hi M&J
We will be arriving the same day as you in the afternoon. I am making priority seatings for dinner at Chef Mickey's and if we get settled in at our hotel (All Star Sports) and have some time to kill we are going to be heading to MK for a few hours (we have UPH so might as well make use of it!) since I don't have it planned until Tuesday.

We also have UPH tickets. We did the same thing last year, but on the following Friday and MK was not crowded at all compared to Sunday and Thursday. I was just a little concerned if they change the EMH schedule and Friday was the EE at MK. I think I'll cancel the Hoop and make a PS at LTT. Thanks for the input!

Now I understand why you would go to the parks on your arrival day - UPH passes. I didn't realize that when I posted earlier.

Have a wonderful trip!!!

Where did you hear that Early Entry days will be changed or tested?

I have not heard anything about this?
