Tell us. Do you have the stereotypical "aloof" kitty, or is your kitty a "lover bubble"? Happily, I have the latter.:D

My Main Coon kitty, Abby, is loving, attentive, talkative and just a big lap-lovin ball of fur.

Both. Wedge loves me and only me and will stay on my lap all day if no one else is around. Tycho is very aloof - doesn't like hugs and kisses and would be happy playing with someone's feet all day.

My cat loves people. She will greet you with her tail in the air and rub you and want to be petted :)

Mystic is VERY aloof- I feel so honored when she comes to me for some attention! :)

Sasha is a mix of aloof and affectionate. She is aloof with me, but adores DH and the kids. When one of them is crying (the kids, that is), she will try hard to snuggle up against them and 'make it better.' It is really cute. When DH gets home from work, she races the kids to greet him. I guess she doesn't like me as much because I'm the 'disciplinarian,' but she does mind me when I tell her to get off the table, stop scratching a chair, etc...I certainly wasn't expecting that when I got a cat, but I'm not complaining.

One of each here

"Boy Kitty" is the cuddle bug who loves people and 'talks' to you
"Girl Kitty" - well everyone wonders if she still lives here as you never see her - she has little hiding spots and only comes out when it is real quiet in the house.

I have the whole range. :)

Sienna is rather aloof. She likes to know what's going on, but she also likes to spend a lot of time by herself and she doesn't like to be petted much or picked up and held. So the rare cuddles from her are special.

Skye is a little more cuddly, but not much. He likes to be nearby, like on the next couch over, but definitely isn't a lap cat. He rarely likes to cuddle or snuggle unless it's food time, but at night his place is at my feet and he's there every night almost all night.

Leo is a snugglebug. Especially first thing in the morning. Last night was cute, because I was holding Gabi and cuddling on her, and Leo saw me and came charging up from where he'd been asleep just so he could get some attention, too. But he doesn't cuddle and sit still. He's an active cuddler -- running in circles, walking back and forth over your lap or head, stuff like that. His preferred place is usually along the back of the couch at my head, and at night he's typically on the headboard above my or DH's head.

Gabi is the whole range. She's the most lovable of the bunch, but also gets into the most trouble. ;) She's very energetic and very outgoing, and everyone who's met her has fallen in love with the little doll. :)

Sebastian is a moody but loyal Siamese-- a mixture of both. He frequently crawls into my lap purring, and he follows me around everywhere. But usually he'll sit about a foot away from where I am, and if I decide to pick him up for a cuddle, he'll fight to get free.

He only wants attention when HE wants it, but he still doesn't like me to leave his sight.

Mischief is a lovable little girl. She follows me around like a little shadow. If I leave one area of the house and she is there seemingly sound asleep. It won't be very long before she has followed me to wherever I moved to.

Our kitten, Simba, is extremely loveable. He follows me wherever I go, always greets us at the door when we come home, loves to sit on my lap, and loves to play. It is very rare that he doesn't want attention.

Don't you wish you could meet all these great kitties in person?:D

My 7 year old Simba is a cuddle kitty and a big, loveable lap cat. You can craddle him like a baby and rub his tummy and he'll eventually fall asleep that way.

Simba is a mommy's boy. He loves belly rubs and shows his belly every chance he gets and purrs away. He likes to lay on mommy's lap too. He is terrified of everyone except mom and dad and will run and hide until they are gone. Cali isn't as afraid and will come out and greet strangers. She likes to sit on laps also. She doesn't like belly rubs, though.

::yes:: :teeth:

Mine only cares when she's hungry and there is no food out. That is when I get attention. My husband on the other hand, she can't get enough of him.

My two cats are both loveable. Cheeky is anyones cat, he greets guests and wonders around their feet until they give him some attention. He will sit on anyones knee for ages.
My other cat Figaro is definately my cat. He will come to me for strokes and sleeps by my feet or at the side of by bed. He is quite shy but will go to people he knows.

Our two cats (Minerva - 10 and Luna - 2) are both total loves. We can't be sitting down for more than 5 minutes before we have a lapful o' feline. They also shadow us; I go down in the basement, so do they; reading in bed - we gots company. Unfortunately, they sometimes demand affection at two in the morning; it's a very odd feeling to wake up with a Luna-kitten licking your nose! ::yes::

I have one of each - Pugsley (10 1/2) makes you work for his affection and gives it to you on his own terms. Daisy (2) however would probably snuggle with a burglar - she is hands down the most friendly and loveable animal I've ever been around!

Kitty (very original, huh?) pretty much does her own thing. Comes to me when she needs to be fed, goes to DH when she wants the litter box cleaned. Ignores DS completely. But absolutely adores DD. She used to sleep under the crib when DD was a baby and I thought she'd stay there when DS came along. Wrong! She moved to sleeping under DD's toddler bed. When DD moved to a full bed in a different room, Kitty went with her and sleeps at the bottom of her bed. Kitty used to snuggle up to my belly when I was pregnant with DD and I think they just bonded there and then.
