Two of my DDs and I have decided to do a last minute 1 Day visit either this Friday 7/29 or Saturday 7/30. Based on recent park trends would anyone strongly advocate for one over the other? I did see some folks suggesting Saturdays have been pretty good lately but Friday works slightly better for our schedule. Anyone think there’s a significant difference between Fridays and Saturdays of late?

We will have park hoppers and are very experienced park goers so ultimately I feel pretty confident that we’ll have a great time either day, just thought I’d see what the DIS has to say :)

Saturday if your schedule can work around it. 👍

I haven't personally been on Friday's, but have seen some packed Mon and Tues vs medium Sat crowds. Honestly don't stress too much though, it won't be a major difference. :earsboy:

In the end our hand was forced by some other plans and we ended up going yesterday (Friday). Crowds really didn’t seem that bad to me, especially at DCA.

I am absolutely blown away that they haven’t closed the G+ fishing loophole. TSMM opened a couple hours after the park so we quickly got our first MEP from that (which is good for anything except the ILLS and Peter Pan). Then Monsters went down for a couple hours in the morning and I quickly racked up SIX MEPs from that. I couldn’t believe it kept letting me book another G+ 10-15min later over and over. The ones from Monsters are a little more restricted but still for what we were planning to ride were just fine (especially since we had one set of the top tier MEP from TSMM).

Glad you had a good time! Was there yesterday as well. Wasn't crowded. Started in DL - 3 rides, hopped to DCA -2 rides. Did a walk up to Carthay Circle Alfresco Lounge. YUM, on the salmon salad. One more ride, hopped back to DL, 2 more rides. Shopped, strolled down Main Street at dusk to see all the crowds lined up. Peaced out around 8pm.

We went yesterday (7/29) too. We were here for 4 days mid June and yesterday actually felt less crowded than June. We were back in CA for a family event so we did just one day at the parks. We rode everything we wanted even with a break midday and we left about 9 pm. It wasnt too hot temp wise but it was humid and sticky, which made it feel worse. It was nice by the evening though.

Based on wait time data, Fridays generally have less wait times than Saturday in the June/July months
