Friar's Nook

I was just reading the menus on allears and I came across the menu for Friar's Nook (formerly Village Fry Shop) and saw this:
Freshly Made Potato Chips $2.99
-- with cheese bacon and ranch $4.49
-- with cheese and chili $4.99

Now that I am almost Pooh-size, I think of the kind of things I used to eat at MK over the years. Chips, bacon, cheese, ranch dressing, they will make you gain weight in a heartbeat at MK and also at home (kids, too). Now our family avoids that kind of high-fat, low-nutrition stuff. Auntie Gravity's in Tomorrowland has fruit smoothies made with non-fat yogurt. Real food, low/no fat. Much better for you and kids.

It does sound good! I never noticed the menu at all before, but looks like I might have to try it out. (Plus, they have chili cheese fries )

Those sound so so good! It's all about moderation so I don't think you need to worry about having these instead of a yogurt smoothie as long as you aren't eating them every day

We tend to eat more healthy at home and don't feel bad about the treats we eat at WDW that aren't so good for us.

I know I'm going to be looking for them in October while we are there!
