Friar Nook - Mac and Cheese

How is the Mac and Cheese at Friar's Nook. Looking for a quick service lunch. The pictures look great, but that doesn't mean it actually taste great. Do kids typically like it? Also is there seating near there to eat it?

I loved it! I had the BBQ chicken. I can't wait to go back in June and get it again. It was also a huge portion too.
I don't remember which one my DH had. But he said it was fine. He is not a mac n cheese person.

I have had the pot roast and the BBQ chicken (without coleslaw, I don't like slaw much). Both are good but I like the BBQ just a little bit more. I found that both needed a little more seasoning, like salt and pepper but the Friar's Nook doesn't have any. So if you are headed there, I would suggest ducking into a quick service place and grabbing a few salt and pepper packets.

The portion is pretty filling and you could probably get it plain for your kids if you don't think they would like the toppings.

You can get it plain too. My kid loves the plain Mac n cheese. The adult serving size is huge.

BBQ chicken was pretty good. I felt it was salty enough, but it could use more black pepper. Everything at WDW could use more black pepper, but that's just me. It was a big portion, so don't go ride any coasters afterwards. The only problem is it gets really crowded, and there isn't much seating.

My family of four gets one per trip and we share it as a snack. Delicious! But we all agree, we really wouldn't want it on our own as a meal. It's kind of heavy. 3 or 4 bites each is awesome though.

My daughter and I love mac and cheese, but neither of us like it from there. Wouldn't get it again, it had a funky taste to us...
