Ha, Freshmen, it sounds so punylike.

Whatever, I'm really tall, so none to my concern for being short.:goodvibes

Don't worry, it's really no fun being tall.

I just finished Freshman year. I turned 14 just before school started, but I'm one of the youngest in my class. At my school, almost everyone was/turned 15 by the end of Freshman year.
High school isn't as bad as you think.

oh so it differs then?
US schools confuse me..
i finish high school in 9 days anyway and then i'm in year 12 in september which i wanna say is your junior year..

Freshman year- 9th Grade, 14/15 usually
Sophomore year- 10th grade, 15/16 usually
Junior year- 11th grade, 16/17 usually
Senior year- 12th grade, 17/18 usually
I'll only be 17 when I graduate, though. That's an odd thought.
The only horrible thing I can think of that they tell Freshman that's true is they get booed at assemblys. No one gets shoved into trashcans or anything. At least, not at my school.

Basically, you're 14 when you enter high school, 9th grade. Some kids are 13 some are 15, it all depends on you birthday. If you were born (about) early September 1995-late July/early August 1996 you're going to be 14 when you enter HS

yeah im 13 right now but my b'day is in 17 days so yea most people in my classes r older so all my friends are like freshman year of HS and i get to drive nxt year and im like, "ugh i dont drive until right before junior year!!!". but i love having a summer b'day cause iu dont have to go to school do wateva i want without having to worry about ghomework or projects or something:cutie::cutie: i just love it :love:

it really isn't that bad after the first day. Im a senior in high school and love looking at all the freshmen on their first day. They are all so afraid. It's like really....i don't bite i wont beat you up if you ask me where your government class is....just don't be stupid and annoying and your fine with me.

DON'T BE!

I just finished my Freshman year at college and it was FANTASTIC.

I met the coolest people and the person who is quite literally my other (non-romantic) half. She's my soul sister. My sister from another mister. The Sam to my Dean. The Peter to my Neal. The Bert to my Ernie. The Hound to my Fox. Erm, you get the idea, yeah?

You'll do things you never thought you'd do (for me this included: seeing the sunrise every day of finals week, realising that the vending machine in the lounge stops vending after 11pm, and that the kid who CHOSE to sleep next to the lounge is a BIG FAT MEANIE).

I was a bit nervous on Day 1 (capital 'D', it's a big deal), but ten minutes in I was all "OMG! STUFF!". I literally kicked my parents out (but not before allowing my mother to hug me for the first time in years so she could slip a hundred bucks into my pocket) and started setting up my room.

Seriously. Don't be worried.

If you've got any questions, just lemme know and I'll do my best to answer them. There's a few others on here that can probably help, too.

Awwwww i remember being a freshman. For me it wasn't the greatest experience. but it might be awesome for you guys! as for me i'm FINALLY a senior in high school. :D
