I hope you find what you are looking for. However as a registered dietitian I am super curious about your diet regimen. Is this all you drink? Do you mind me asking why? I'm not being vicious, I just truly am curious. I try to stay current with the trends but I've never heard of only drinking organic veggie juice. Sorry to hijack your thread.
LOL, not much here to hijack!

Thanks for the question!
In an effort to get plenty of veggies into my daily diet, I find that juicing provides the fastest, easiest-on-the-digestive-system, track of achieving this purpose. I'm influenced by texts written by or on Max Gerson, Norman Walker, William D. Kelley, Robert Young and others. I try to get 24oz of fresh veggie juice each day, mostly prepared at home using either a cold-press or masticating juicer, served in 8oz portions throughout the day. A single 8oz glass of juice carries the nutrients, enzymes and beneficial bacteria of 1-3lbs of vegetables (yield depends on juicer type; selection of veggies, etc.).
Veggie Juice vs Fruit Juice? I'm leaning towards the old line, "
Eat your fruits; drink your veggies," taking advantage of the plant fiber to slow sugar absorption from the fruits.
Why only organic? Borrowed from article,
10 ways to cleanse the body of toxins with fresh juice:
One important note: If you are going to juice make sure the fruit is organic. When you juice conventional vegetables you are likely absorbing all the pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or genetically-modified organisms (GMO) stored in them. Because juices are so concentrated, your body will soak up those chemicals immediately. This information is particularly crucial if youre doing a cleanse. After all, if youre making the effort to enhance your health, you may as well do it right!
Is that all I drink? I also drink water, loose-leaf tea (mostly green, oolong or pu-ehr) and a little coffee (haven't shook that habit yet!). I don't drink soda (of any kind), alcohol, sugary drinks, etc.
Beyond the juicing, I try to eat 'sensibly.' I favor vegetables over meats - but not exclusively. I pick my way through the '
Clean 15/Dirty Dozen' list when dining out. I cringe a bit when faced with wheat-based options (breads/pasta) and will hunt out a salad, if possible. I still enjoy an occasional dessert. I ate way to much of everything over the holidays and have a few pounds to lose ... {grin}
The benefits of juicing, for me, have been incredible.
- I lost 30 lbs over 18 months with simple diet modification: switched to black coffee (dropped the creamer addiction!), added the fresh veggie juice, decreased meal portions. I've kept that off for more than a year ... other than the few lbs gained this Christmas. (They'll be gone quite soon, I'm sure.)
- My skin is GORGEOUS and my hair and nails are visibly improved.
- I no longer suffer with swollen fingers or ankles when traveling by airplane or exercising on a hot day.
- My BP is great.
- My brain works faster. (Just gotta trust me on that one -- I don't suffer brain fog when I'm juicing.)
- I don't bruise; inflammation is reduced. (I discovered this about 1 year after starting my juicing practice. My horse threw me so high into the air that I recall having time to look down to consider my landing (choosing sagebrush over cactus). I fell hard in a turtle position (on my back with legs/arms over me). Not a single bruise and very limited inflammation. My bounce-back period was mercifully brief.)
- Very limited cold/flu symptoms -- even with lots of airplane travel and weather extremes.
- I'm very, um, regular now.

- I have unbelievable energy (most of the time).
- Etc, etc, etc.
Juicing? I'm a
believer!

We'll save
isolation (juicing) vs
integration (blending via Vitamix/Blendtec) for a later discussion ...

Hope this addresses your questions w/out too many rabbit trails.
