Fresh Fruit Snacks at WDW

Hi! I'm a West-Coaster and I go to Disneyland once a month or so, but this will be my FIRST trip to Disney World in the next few weeks!

At Disneyland, my favorite snack is a package of fresh strawberries with chocolate dipping sauce. Is this snack available in any of the Florida parks?

I'm on a low-carb diabetic way of eating, and my family is insisting on doing the dining plan. I just wanted to know if this "snack" was indeed offered in Florida as well.

I never saw that offered anwhere, and believe me I was on the lookout for any fruit I could get.

they did have fruit bowls, grape bowls, bananas, oranges, apples, SOME places had watermelon bowls and of course at Aloha Isle (I think that is the name) in Adventureland they have pineapple spears.

They also have chocolate dipped strawberries in all of the Candy stores, that I have to admit, I tried one in every place They were sooooo good.

Just a warning about the fruit bowls, they are not that easy to open. Not sure why they had to make the bowls so hard to get into, but they did.

That sounds fabulous! I did not see them anywhere last October, but perhaps it's a seasonal thing? I was on the lookout for fresh fruit snacks. I encountered the ones the pp )ocalla) mentioned.

I'm on the lookout for snack that won't spike your blood sugar level. My DS is particularly sensitive to sugar spikes. I wish they had strawberries at the park - they are so nutritious and do have a low glycemic index. Dark chocolate (like 72%) also has a low glycemic index. But any chocolate dipping sauce at WDW would likely not be low carb. Milk chocolate is as far from low carb as you can get.
