Frequent flyer Help

Hi everyone...I am waiting for the SWA dates to open, and while doing research I decided to check DH ff accounts:he has 2
United with 56,000 and
US Airways with 27,000 miles.
Our dates are really flexible we want to go around March 8th(-1/-2) and come back around the 16th(-1/-2) (we would like to stay 8-9 nights)

I have never delt with this before...how do I go about doing this?
We are 2 A and 2 7yoChildren, so I am guessing at least 1A/1c on a flight. Or should I try to have the US miles under Star Alliance to get all on United?
I am Lost!!!! Any help would be greatly appericated.

I also have 4 vouchers on United for $31 in each persons name is there anything I can do with these?

I suggest asking your question on www.flyertalk.com Go to miles and points and then go to the different airline forums. They will be able to get you the best use of your miles.

Chances are you will not be able to use the FF miles for tickets. Airlines typically allocate very few seats per flight/per day under these programs and they do go quick....usually the first couple of days of the 331 day window when
most airlines release there schedules. Having said that, it's worth a call to the airline. Sometimes, the less popular flights (late night) may have availability.

Your best bet would be to use the vouchers to apply against a UAL flight. It's
going to save you something! Just check for expirations/restrictions on the vouchers. Good Luck!
