W've booked the package with a TA, flying with Virgin though. Are customers like us allowed to join the frequent flyer club to gain benefits or does the whole kit and caboodle have to be booked with Virgin itself. And how do you 'cash in' the benefits, is it money off future flights or off future complete holiday bookings? Thanks for any help. I'm looking at saving Tesco vouchers for a cheaper holiday so not sure whether the frequent flyer club would be able to be used at the same time.

Yes you can join.

You just need to either call VA or go on their website and then join.

Once you have travelled you just give them details of your flights and they will add the appropriate points to your account.

Check out the VA website as this has lots of info and will give you an idea of what you can spend your points on.

Join online. This will give you your Virgin "frequent flyer membership number" - give that to your TA so that they can add it to your booking (then your flights SHOULD automatically be registered with your account and you SHOULD get the appropriate miles/points).

It's always worth joining these things...
