French Quarter buses in March

We are considering a change from our "home" at Pop to staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. We will be there in March checking in two weeks before Easter. Is that considered a busy time of year so POFQ will have their own buses to each park? We have never stayed at POFQ and I am worried about it not feeling "Disney" for my 7 year old that loves POP. Thanks for your help!

We tend to always visit during less busy times of the year. The only time we've experienced bus sharing with POFQ was during the mid day hours when demand for the buses is lowest. I don't recall sharing during times surrounding park opening or closing.

POFQ does often share busses with POR, and depending on which resort your driver starts with, you might have to sit through all three stops at POR. It does add a fair amount of travel time on, but if you schedule yourself some wiggle room you'll be okay. In regards to it being busy, my mom and I were there in February, and it was fairly packed. Lots of cheerleading groups, and large school groups from South America. The biggest inconvenience was the noise and the lines at the quick serve. POFQ is the perfect amount of Disney for us! There are lots of hidden Mickeys, and fun cartoon-y Mardi Gras theming throughout the resort. There's even a Mardi Gras Man who greets you at the lobby door! However the rooms themselves are very relaxing and not overly themed. A great place to rest your head after a long day at the Mouse House.

Yea, it will be busy because of spring break. We were there the second week of March last year, and stayed half the time at POR. We didn't share any busses with POFQ while we were there, and we took busses to each park for rope drop, after park closing, and in the middle of the day.

Thanks so much for everyone's help! My husband asked me what the bus time to stop at POFQ and POR was compared to the Pick up and drive time from Pop to a park? Anyone know?
