The "Jambalaya" served at French Market is delicious, but not actually meets the requirements for the label jambalaya...it's more of a gumbo. Jambalaya has meat cooked with the rice while this dish had meat served over white rice.

Born and raised in south east Louisiana- I avoid the French Quarter food when we go to DLR. Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in DTD is pretty decent for seafood and beignets.

Did you notice the "beniegts" served nextdoor are actually just powered donuts? I mean again they are delicious, but not really beniegts. Maybe I'm expecting too much from Disney?
