French Market?

I like the French Market in particular the Jambalaya. It's all cajun food.

Well, you'll always get some who say yes and some who say no. I'm a yes for this place. I would recommend this if you're looking for a counter service place with some non-burger and non-pizza type food in a pleasant setting.

I enjoy the chicken breast, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and corn bread. My sons like this dish too. Sometimes I'll get the clam chowder in the bread bowl with the side salad. It's the same chowder and bread bowl you can get at other places. DH has tried a couple of meals there and pronounced them decent to good, depending on what they were. There are usually several tasty dessert choices also, including one or two you might not find elsewhere. I love being able to sit outside in New Orleans Square and people watch and look at the river and oftentimes listen to music while eating. In the evenings, there's a jazz band that performs periodically on the stage in the French Market eating area. At other times of the day, there are often performers nearby playing music and/or singing.

I'm not a huge fan, but many here are. I've eaten there three times and my food was always cold and "meh". I've gotten the salmon, the cheese pasta, and the beef. Beef was the best of the three. The veggies are good there though.

In the 32 years I have been going to Disneyland, I've never set foot in this restaurant. The closest I've gotten in the Mint Julep Bar (back when they had real fritters, not the slop that passes for that now...).

I think I've checked out the menu a few times, but nothing was appealing.

I'm not a fan. Used to eat there then they changed the menu a few years ago and nothing sounds appealing.

Now Cafe Orleans is a must for our family!

We love it there and find the food quality and location really nice. Some people really want traditional American food...and guess what Cajun food is too! My kids like their kid offerings and I have enjoyed most of it.

French Market is one of our favorites. I especially recommend the jambalaya, or the chowder and salad combo. My husband really likes the roast beef royale. I think one of the best parts about French Market is also the location. There's a lot of good people watching to be done in New Orleans Square!

YES!!!!! I love the 3 cheese pasta, it's soooooo good!!! :)

For me, I love the place...one of my favorites in the park...but I like simple food, not smothered, fried, or greasy. Like the counter service style but almost always able to get a seat and feel like you are at table service.

It has my vote!

The food at the French Market is okay - the jambalya and salmon were pretty good. It's a nice location and great place to watch the crowds. It's pretty low key, which is nice. However, if you're there for a meal, you might consider saving a little room for Mickey-shaped beignets. You can buy them (and a mint julep) from the little window behind the French Market.

We like the roast beef and the muffuletta when they had it during the winter. And of course, the various desserts.

It isn't on our "must hit" list but I've never been actively unhappy when we ended up there. There's just never anything on the menu that I want as much as some of our favorites elsewhere.

This actually IS on our must hit list. We LOVE the bread bowls with the yummy clam chowder. I always want to try the Jambalaya but I just can't go without my clam chowder (and I don't even really love clam chowder!)

We love sitting here, relaxing, people watching :)

I don't know what the dish is called, but I had the mushroom mac and cheese and it was yummy.
