French Language Barrier

I've got the link to the script somewhere will dig it our for you, apparently there were too many complaints about it so it was rerecorded by Gérard Chévalier but did you know that part of Vincent Price's original narration is still used in the ride.
Nobody can do a creepy laugh like he could. :)

Actually thinking about it I've got the ride video with the English narration downloaded somewhere I'll find that too. :)

Oh, wow! Thank you so much for posting that. It's interesting how the original narration seems to have been a lot like the one at Disneyland CA, but the one now is quite different. I wonder what the complaints about the first narration were.

I didn't realize that a part of Price's narration was still in it, though I did hear a clip of Paul Frees (the Ghost Host voice in CA) when going through the ghost town area.

Again, thank you so much. I'll have to show those scripts to my brothers since they were at DLP with me.

That it was in English and the French visitors didn't like it, or so I've heard.
I think it's a shame really regardless of the language Vincent Price's voice has an eerie quality that nobody can match.

That's what I'd read. At least there is still Vincent's haunting laugh :)

Jill: Thanks for the script. I should have paid more attention in French class.

I can't take any credit for it either, my French is appalling.
Copy & paste is a wonderful thing ;)

Thanks for the link to the video. It's fab!

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm not actually going to France; I was just curious. My curiosity is satisfied though.
