Busy week ahead. I'm trying to pre-prepare as many meals as possible. I want to make a meatloaf and freeze it, then my daughter can just throw it in the oven when she gets home from school. Do I bake it first and then freeze, or freeze it raw.

TIA

I've done it both ways - if I have time to bake it first I usually do, if not it goes in raw (same with meatballs). I don't notice a difference in taste or texture either way.

We bake ours, and then divide it up, then freeze it.

We bake it, then freeze it in Foodsaver bags. We pack it in slices so it can be easily reheated in either the microwave or boiling water.

Gosh darn it...now I am hungry for meat loaf. :goodvibes
