Freezer Question

We finally decided to get a large upright freezer, I am thinking about getting a manual defrost, but looking for pros or cons from anyone who has one.

Life is too short to spend a day defrosting a freezer....one of those days you cannot get back...

Pay the extra for the defrost. Defrosting a freezer is not a fun job. I agree with Girls Scout Leader.

I agree that you should get a defrosting freezer. If you had the other you would have to figure out what to do with all of your stuff while defrosting. Then if you're at all like me and get side tracked easily that would not be a good thing.
