Freedom Resort is no More!

I had some friends visit me in Orlando this weekend and we thought we would go visit Freedom Resort. We saw some brochures about it at Gay Day last year. Well, I guess we missed it. Went down there and it is already "Under New Management". Never even had a chance to see it in operation.

Had anyone from on here ever been there?

It was very overpriced. The night I went it was manditory valet parking at $8, and cocktails were about $7.50. Seemed like Disney prices on 192. It's sad, because the Kissimmee area could support a new club if it was run right.

I would like a really nice Gay resort in this area. This was a former Travel Lodge and did not look that nice. I want a place that is nice enough to go stay for a weekend even though I have a house in town.
