So what's next? Freedom Toast? Do we ban France from the World Showcase? Or at least boycott it? Do we eat at Chef's de Freedom? Must I now deny that I'm 1/2 French Canadian? Aren't we taking this all a little too far? Not everyone believes in war.

You must have missed the thread about people boycotting France in the WS ;)

I'm half French and pretty tired of people insinuating that I should be ashamed of my heritage.

Moi aussi, Jenn!

Why are all the French blamed for the decisions made by the government? I know I don't want to be held accountable for everything that my government says and does!

I liked the quote from Sports Radio host Jim Rome, referring to when a MLB pitcher recently beamed Mike Piazza with a ball and then ran away when Piazza charged the mound. "What a Frenchman. I hope his teammates throw French flags all over his locker."

i don't get it either. it's just as dumb as calling sauerkraut liberty cabbage.

the morning dj's on a radio here were making jokes about "freedom" kissing the other day. :p :p :p

I have no problem calling fries or toast "freedom fries and freedom toast." I don't know for sure, but did France discover the potato or the fry? Did the French reform bread and make it with vanilla, milk, etc....?

I plan on having Freedom Fries as long as I am at liberty to do so.;) ;) ;)

Just as a side note, the "French" Fry was developed in Belgium

I don't see why it matters one way or the other - call them whatever you like, just so long as they taste the same, I could care less.

And French toast and French Dressing were developed in America!

This is what happens when you give ignorant people too much power.
