Freedom at Cafe Mickey

I have been watching a couple of videos on Facebook of the song Freedom being played at Cafe Mickey, and all the characters leading a dance routine. Is this something that happens regularly, as it looks great fun, and we are planning on having our first night in there, (25th March) as it is my DW's birthday, and will be my grandkids first character interaction.

Even though we had our dream holiday in Orlando last year, I am so excited about taking the kids, aged 2 & 3 for their first Disney experience.

Yes it does, the CM's jump up on the counters and everything else stops really, the characters are dancing, everyone ends up clapping and singing along.
It's really good fun, but CM has a kind of upbeat feeling to it, I guess that's why some people complain of it being noisy - we love it, anyway.

There will definately be a trippie, but I don't think it will be as long as the last one!! That was our dream holiday for my 50th and we did absolutely everything we had ever wanted to in Orlando. It would be really great to meet any fellow dissers in DLRP, you won't be able to miss us - look out for the Lime Green Sheff United shirts!! Where are you staying Small World?? We are in the Sequoia Lodge, 25th to 28th March - thats just 19 more sleeps away!!

We are in Cheyenne 25th-29th but also at DCR for one night the week before (18th) before going to Berny Riviere campsite for a week.

Our tickers says 20 days which is when we arrive on 25th but really its a week less than that so nearly SDD

Im sure we wont miss those shirts

It was so much fun when we went and they danced to Freedom.

The atmosphere was great and it made up in my case the poor selection of food choice avaliable.

I always watch the videos on youtube, they make me all warm inside esp the one of Tigger on Christmas Eve...too funny...but you gotta love the Tig

AWWW i see now, this was happening while we were waiting for our table the first time we went to cafe mickey- we were all wondering what was going on. How often do they do it?

Im not sure how often they do this, as they only did it once when we was there.

Sorry, I did mean YouTube. There are a couple of really good video's that really capture the atmosphere as the characters are dancing. There is also a video of the swimming pool at Sequoia Lodge, which quite impressed me too.

I would say they dance at least every hour, if not every half-hour.
