Just listened to the email show and didn't see a Freebie thread on here yet.

One that I thought of that I didn't hear mentioned was going in (and out numerous times :rolleyes1 ) of Ghirardelli, at DTS, and get the free sample that they hand out.

Here's one....Free afternoon and evening entertainment along the boardwalk behind Disney's Boardwalk Resort.

There are usually jugglers, trick artisist, and musicians who entertain crowds. It's pretty good entertainment. Occassionally, you will find these same entertainers at Downtown Disney.

I have a few....

The torch lighting ceremony at the Polynesian

The movie on the beach at the Grand Floridian

And can't you take a free guided tour of the lodge itself at The Wildnerness Lodge?
Only thing is, I'm not sure if you have to be a guest there to take the tour.

I also really enjoy the piano player in the lobby of GF when he's there.

You can watch the Electrical boats light parade for free on the Poly Beach.

I also enjoy the live music they have upstairs at the lounge at the GF.....they even play jazzy versions of disney movie music.....:wizard:

You can get free ring-side seats to some great fights...just stand back and watch the adults go at it while jocking for position to watch the parades! :scared1:

  • Movies also at Fort Wilderness and the Beach Club.
  • The ranch area at Fort Wilderness. Plan on hitting that with the girls on our January trip.
  • The walking paths at Fort Wilderness to the Wilderness Lodge.
  • The boat travel between resorts and parks. - No one said you have to get off the boat.
  • Hundreds of great spots for amazing family photos.
  • The walking trail from the GF to the TTC.
If you count inside the parks (admission is required, so not completely free...)
  • The KidCot experiences - the activities they get to do and bring home.

Boy -inside the parks is a lot harder....

Do they still shoot the free souveneir balls during the Pixar Block Party Bash?
Is that still running?

How about using the workout room at your resort. If you could bring your
own fold up fishing poll and artificial bait you could fish for free. - at least
I think you could. I am no fisherman but years ago I did that with my son.
Did not catch anything but fun anyway.

Petting zoo at Ft. Wilderness. If you can bring you own bikes like we are
hoping to do that is free.

A great freebie during the Christmas season is going around to the various resorts and checking out the gorgeous decorations.

Not free but cheap - making the pressed pennies around everywhere. I believe all of the resorts have multiple machines, many with coin designs that relate to that specific resort. This can get pricey if you buy a book to hold the coins and get OCD about collecting all of the coins you see. :)

A freebie if you are a guest at WL - asking and being the Flag Family at WL.

A freebie if you are in the MK and a veteran - stop in at City Hall and inquire about being part of the daily Flag ceremony.

Very free - talk with the CMs, they are usually wonderful and full of great WDW info and trivia bits.

WL freebie - They have a walking tour of the resort.

DTD - often have afternoon 'concerts'.

DTD - In the Lego store there are usually blocks to build with.

FWC - Check out the stables and see the incredible horses used in the parades and that pull the MK trolley.

AKL - Can usually find a CM near the animal observation areas that will give lots of info about the animals and culture.

Go to any counter service restaurant, and you can get free glasses of Ice Water. Alway important on hot days in Orlando.
