Freebie Thread for week 10/13/08

http://www.duncanhines.com/carrotcake/Carrot_Cake_Rebate_Form.pdf

this is the direct link to the PDF of the rebate form. I started from the Duncan Hines website and went through the links to get to it, so I am guessing it's legit, even though it doesn't look like much!:confused3

It is a "challenge"-a refund/rebate if it's not the "Best carrot cake you ever tried!" so at the end of it you have to say why you were disappointed in it.

This is a "try me free" kind of rebate. You purchase the product and then send in for money back. If you go to http://www.duncanhines.com/carrotcake/ you can print a money off coupon (1 for the cake & 1 for cream cheese frosting!) & the rebate form.

Here's an interesting one. I got my FREE People magazine today, and on the inside cover are instructions on how to remove the entire cover of the magazine, fold it inside out, stuff 5 target plastic bags into it, fold it with prepaid address facing out, mail it and they will send you a free "Retote" bag in January.

sorry, no info on the Target site..I guess you need to have the copy of People magazine..October 27 issue.

thanks :goodvibes
not only great deals I'm also learning a lot and laughing my head off xoxoxoxoxo

Thanks so much for all the info. How do I keep up with the threads? Do you do a new one weekly or will subscribing help with finding the new threads?

Thanks again

The threads run for a week, beginning on Monday at 12:00 a.m. (if anyone is up to starting it at that time;) ) The old thread is linked in the first post of the new thread, the new thread is linked to the last post in the old thread...boy that sounds confusing..hope you got that! The date of the beginning day of the new thread is in the title, so it's easy to know which one you are looking at. Since the old thread is technically "dead", it moves off the first page quickly so you won't see two freebie threads for long. I have the new one bookmarked so I can click right to it!

CLEAR AS MUD???:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Sorry freeps but I love the mocha frappuccinos :lovestruc not into pumpkin spices.

But you can have a pumpkin spice frap! I did that last week one day when it was kinda warm and I had a sore throat. I sound like I go there all the tim but I don't--maybe once/twice a week is my limit. For now I'll be taking advantage of that Folger's freebie!

Can you Starbcrack folks explain something to me? What is the difference between a cauppucino and a frappucino? I know that cauppucino has been around for thousands of years, and is 1/3 espresso with 1/3 hot steamed milk and 1/3 froth. Is frappucino a new made up Starcrack word? What is it made from- coffee instead of espresso??

Thr frapp is blended with ice to make it a frozen kinda drink, with whipped cream. My DH could live on the caramel ones if I let him.:lmao:
