Alot of us actually registered for other occasion than wedding registry so really not "false" pretenses. You have several options avail. I didn't do the knife one because I felt shady doing it but I did do the Calphalon one.

Does anyone know a serial number to use on this? It seems like when I looked at it before that field was not there???? I am trying to get my Mother one but she does not currently use the "One Touch" brand of meters.

I did them all as I am renewing my vows next august.. My sister did it because she never got to the first time around and like someone said you can use a different event for most. Hope this helps.. I just love all the freebies Freaps

I registered for the anniversary registry. My anniversary was on June 10th, and I registered in May, so I felt like it was justified.

Kinda felt the same way so I didn't do it. Just feels different somehow when you are getting something "with a catch" and you know you really won't have anyone buying from the registry. Not knocking anyone who did it either, this offer just wasn't right for me.

Northboro - Tougas Farms - we pick there several times a year starting with the Strawberries and going through the apple season. There are TONS of unripen berries but picking was pretty easy and it took about an hour and a half to do the 11.5 pounds. My inlaws have some bushes (not alot) and we have picked about 4 cups off their plants but they aren't prime season just yet. I would say within 2 weeks they will be bursting!

When I lived in Ottawa Canada - I made this perfect apple blueberry jam. It was soooo yummy - sigh that was about 20 yrs ago
