Alot of us actually registered for other occasion than wedding registry so really not "false" pretenses. You have several options avail. I didn't do the knife one because I felt shady doing it but I did do the Calphalon one.

Good luck on this. I signed up several months ago and completed the first questionaire and have heard nothing since. I must be too old for their current surveys. Maybe they will contact me when they are doing surveys on bladder control problems, constipation, menopause or alzeheimers.

Yes, I did.. I don't know why though...

It did specify which types of products you had to register for, it asn't jsut the whole of the Calphalon line. I almost got caught on that one myself.

I've never had much luck with surveys either. Not sure why. I've often been tempted to lie but never brave enough. Maybe brave isn't the right word but you know what I mean.
