Unless you are tech-savvy, I would definitely recommend getting a separate router/access point for travel use. Some may think they can just unplug their wireless AP from home and take it along. Not recommended, IMO.
I brought a spare unit from home and ended up having to reset it to the manufacturer's default settings before it would work with the Disney service. If that unit was still in use at home, chances are I would have had to re-configure it again upon my return. Again, maybe not a difficult task for a techie but it will take time and could lead to a great deal of frustration.
