Is there free Wi Fi at HHI for vacation club members?

Yes. But note, it's just WiFI, they don't have cable ethernet connections in the rooms.

Yes it is free, if you can get a connection. I had strong connections at the front desk/lobby area but terrible when I tried to get it in the room (or anywhere else not near the main bldg). The answer I got was the stock "we're working on it" . Hopefully they have improved it

We were there over NYE and thought it was excellent. We were in bldg close to the pool.

Much better than the cable connection we had at WDW the week before.

You do have to enter a code from the front desk to access it.

Frustrating part was I got good connections at the Quality Inn on a one nite stop enroute. Motels have it but HHR not having it is unacceptable in my book. We were thare in April 2008.Disney seems to be very slow in catching up or maybe it's because they already have my money

It was pretty new in April 2008 at HHI and VRB. WDW didnt get the free access til months later.

We had 2 laptops for 10 nights in Bldg 23, I think.

The WiFi in all of the buildings was set up this fall. It's now available in all of the rooms. Previously it was only available around the pool, in Community Hall and in Big Murgies Den (and from a few villas near those locations).

We used it in November in the Main Lodge and in Building 18, It worked great in both places.
