Free Valet parking

Why can't I find any information on the free valet parking for DVC members in any of my materials?

What are the resorts that offer this and where can I find that info?

You have free valet parking only at DVC resorts that have valet parking (BWV, BCV, VWL, AKV, and soon BLT). You do not have to be staying at the resort or even at WDW to get it. You do not get free valet parking anywhere else. You will not get free valet parking at the Contemporary/BLT until BLT actually opens.

Well, the Portable Perks booklet states:

When staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, valet parking is complementary at (BWV, VWL, BCV, and AKV)...

Here is what the member website says:

Valet parking is complimentary at Disney's BoardWalk Resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Disney's Beach Club Resort. Just show your Disney Vacation Club Member ID Card. Complimentary valet parking is not available at other valet parking operations or for Theme Park access.

You'll be charged the daily fee of $10.00 for this service at any other valet parking operation at the Walt Disney World Resort. Once you've paid for the valet service, you'll receive unlimited valet parking for the remainder of the day. Whether or not you are charged to valet park, gratuities are still appropriate. There will be no charge for Guests with disabilities who have the proper permits.

They need to update this to include AKL/AKV. And there is no requirement to be staying at a WDW resort. I think they have that in Portable Perks, because you don't usually get Portable Perks unless you are a guest at a WDW resort.

Note: you cannot valet park to visit the theme parks (underlined and bolded in the quote).
