Free Upgrades with the Loews First Card

Since I'm going to the PBH on July 3rd to July 6th. I recently recieved the Loews First Card with free white wine and a Wall Street Journal as a welcome gift at the hotel. Well, can I ask for a complimentry upgrade to a Deluxe Pool View at the Portofino Bay Hotel?
