How does this work? Do you just show the Valet your DVC card? We've never brought a car to WDW! Thanks!!

Yes, you show your DVC card and after you check in, you can show your room key. Some will ask for both.

When you arrive just tell them you are DVC member, they may or may not ask to see DVC card (often do now when you first arrive). Important to also tell them you are DVC member, if use car during trip, each time you return because valet personnel sometimes will not note it unless you do mention it, resulting in a charge to room if the valet fails to note it.

Good to know! Thanks so much!

Some members (including me) have found that they were charged for valet parking when they shouldn't have. Be sure to look at your bill before you leave and if you see an improper charge for valet, go to the front desk and they will take it off. Keep in mind that the free valet parking applies only at DVC resorts.

If you place your parking permit in your glove box before arriving at the valet stand, an improper charge is much less likely.
