Are you an annual pass holder or FL resident? Why do you think you got it? I wouldn't mind getting one!

Photo id must match the coupon name/offer.
The bad part is blackout date May 26- 29 2006.I am going on this date.

Is phamtom here?
I want to ask if I can buy the the tickets and save them for when I go to USF again during halloween horror nights and may not need to buy the power pass for this year.

check again the free ticket has text in yellow.
under the "offer valid......blah ...blah........"

There is also in yellow a

CLIENT NO: 12345

(numbers have been replaced with other numbers cause I don`t want them to know who I am.)

I also matched the postcards received from universal before and this is the first time they mispelled my name. Weird right?

I am a FL resident, have universal visa, had received postcards before, but this is the first time they mispelled my name on a postcard. I guess that checking on my 2006 orders I may find when or where they got my name wrong. LOL

well, this came in my husbands name, and yup, they got the wrong middle initial... i'll be in disney next month and have an extra day to kill, so if they tell me it's a legit ticket we'll use it, and universal will make money, not lose it.. if it's a fake then universal will lose out on my business. :confused3

I am not saying these are fakes.
I just noticed that these are not like the ones I got before. So these are not autogenerated. U know the ones that they (USF) get from the computer and print out a bunch of them with the same info over and over again.

These look real, and now that U said they mispelled your husband info, too. What a coincidence? I think that maybe the usf resorts are the ones making/sending these because I know how important it is for a person`s name to match a voucher at the theme parks. The resort does not care a lot, but the park is extremely cautious about name, coupon, or voucher exact name match.

Anyway I am still trying to find the source for these. I think is the resorts sending these.

Again these do not look fake, but they look like they were typed fast because they mispelled some people`s names. Also, they are not computer generated postcards from an old database name list.

Florida resident and stayed at a resort, didn't get one (yet atleast) so it could possibly be due to the Universal Visa.

They were sent to certain demographics. They are legit. Enjoy!

They aren't valid for HHN. Just for the day. It's OK if the name is spelled wrong. But be sure and bring ID.

Phamtom or anyone that knows about blackout dates.

Do this means I can not use them during May 26-29 ( my vacation time)?Right?
But I can buy/exchange them during my memorial day blockout dates vacation time and wait to use them after May 26-29?

Or these are Just to be used Instantly?
The same day you showed a universal representative cashier these has to be used on the same day that they are exchanged for real tickets with a validation bar codes? This means that they can not be used or exchanged during May 26-29 to be used instanly or saved for a future visit to USF because I will be blackout all these days.

Sorry for too many questions about blackout dates! I have 5 day passes for my family; I will only be at USF 4 days, and I am trying to save these from going to the wastebasket.

Whole article on this in the Sentinel this morning--they are legit. Not sure if this marketing plan is brilliance or desperation (or a combination of both).

I had no doubt they were legit. Just wondering how we got one, not that I am complaining. But like I said earlier, we've only been there one time on free tickets, haven't stayed at their resorts or have a credit card from them... nada! But we ARE Florida Residents.

It says on it that the name or the address must match yours. So if I wanted to go, even though the card is in my husbands name, it's the same address so I could use it. But I wouldn't want to go by myself so he'll use the free ticket and we'll pay the $35 for additional tickets which I am thinking is a good price?

Hardly desperation. Universal has always appealed to families with teens. The new marketing campaign is to attract those with younger kids. They did the same free ticket coupon in the summer which is hardly a slow time.

Just take the voucher to the Guest service window outside of either park. Then purchase or pick up your free ticket. You can save it for a future visit. There are no blackout dates.

"The free tickets and discount tickets come with no restrictions or blackout dates, though they expire after June 26." (Orlando Sentinel)

None black out dates? Yeah orlando sentinel newspaper....Have you seen/read them?
I am so glad that Phamtom is here a member of the disney boards, or I will be very confused on what the news people says and what does the back of these vouchers says but then phamton explains the rest.....
We are so lucky here at the disney boards to understand the understandable!I will do what she told me to do here.

But just incase I don`t understand English, My voucher says: "Offer valid through and must be redemmed by June 2006.Redeeem this voucher at any ticket window of Universal.............. blah.... blah.....Other restrictions may apply. *Blackout dates apply:May 26-29, 2006.

CLIENT NO: XXXXX "

Or maybe I am the only client with a blackout (voucher) from the park during those days. They (USF) must hate me. LOL

Thanks Phamton! And do not leave us alone here! Ok?

I got it. I'm a Florida resident.

I do list blackout dates of Memorial day weekend on my voucher.

We are considering doing this as it saves us 50% and my DD has been wanting to go so bad.

Reg price tickets are $63 and I think my girsl would be $58 or something like that.

I'm drooling!

Not yet as no one has come in yet to redeem them since they just got mailed out. The ones I saw last summer didn't have a balckout date so I just "assumed" the Orlando Sentinal was correct.

It looks like my assumption was wrong and you do have a blackout date on Memorial Day weekend. It sure doesn't give you much time to use them in does it?

Wow. This is a great deal!

You guys better use it.. And since you're saving so much money on the tickets, check out the prices for the on-site hotels for when you're going. FREE unlimited Express, great resorts, short walk or water taxi to the parks...

I'll be there June 1-4... Just booked another few days for my birthday in August..

HAVE FUN!
