Free ticket upgrade? Anyone heard any news?

Last year, Disney had the free park hopper and water parks and more ticket upgrade. So far, I haven't seen it yet but am hoping. I think I remember it coming out in March or April last year.

Anybody heard anything about whether or not they will be offering it this year?

That's not the one I was looking for. Last year, it was open to the general public. Didn't have to have an AP, AAA or Visa card.

Code is out today for Disney Visa cardholders.
Minimum three night stay. Must be booked and paid for with Disney Visa. Not available on line; must phone in and pay deposit immediately.

Many travel agents were up at 7am taking care of this for their clients.

Travel dates: March 30-May 24. Many blockouts apply.

Does anyone know if you can you get and use this ticket upgrade if you booked through AAA and are receiving their discount even though I booked a package? Thanks!

Well shoot! Last year, the promotion was all the way to the end of May. Maybe they will change it.

I hope so. We check in My 30th and I would love to be able to apply that discount. That's a $430.00 savings for us.

Would it be worth waiting or should I go ahead and cancel my package through Disney and book with AAA? It's a $330.00 saving to book with them. I just don't like losing the control of picking up the phone to call CRO.

I have already booked our package and have just under $1,000.00 left to pay. I bought just the 8 day base tickets and am hoping for the free upgrade. If not, I'll upgrade them when I get there.
